What happens during the free consultation?
The consultation is a relaxed 20-minute phone call where we talk about what brings you to therapy. I'll answer any questions you have about my approach, and we'll explore whether we'd be a good fit. There's absolutely no pressure or obligation.
How long does therapy typically last?
Every person's journey is different. Some people find that 8-12 sessions provide the support they need, while others benefit from longer-term work. We'll check in regularly about your progress and adjust as needed — you're always in the driver's seat.
Do you accept insurance?
I'm an out-of-network provider, which means I don't bill insurance directly. However, I provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Many PPO plans offer partial coverage for out-of-network therapy.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations are charged at the full session rate. I understand that life happens, and I'm always happy to discuss special circumstances.
